Ye old Pentax took it's final fall on Canada Day, across the street from Castle Park.
I finally replaced it with a Nikon CoolPix 5100. Just in time for our long weekend camping trip avec Avana et Ryan.

Hah. Don't cry guys. (We got there super late the first night.)

Ok so, just keep in mind that we were drunk pretty much the entire trip; and always while taking photographs.

Also, I am just learning to use my cam.

Avana is not the only one impressed with Lenny's great genes.

Damn, boy.

Ok, the following pix are from the trusty Canon.

Disgusting amounts of MEAT were consumed the entire time.

Obligatory Lenny stuffing face shot.

Lesbian neighbour who would not leave us alone...

Lastly, here are some inside notes/jokes worth mentioning:
1. brawh, brah, brau, braaa, bra.
2. LOLgoats
3. dead goat/cow
4. attack of the motorcycle/ sprinkler
5. rouge ipod (*sniff)
6. night crawler
7. rafting! (nicole + ryan's downstream adventure)
8. ball line
9. daily max carbon intake (shitting bricks)
10. nicole didn't barf
11. who spiked the glucosamine
12. more olives pls
13. moth massacre

Yeah, so. Def a lot of fun. I worked out every day this week to make up for it. Even managed to convince D to do the grind w/ me. Aww, look...

Blog Resurection - Summer Update

Maybe the weather's been too nice or I haven't been slacking enough at work enough, or whatever but this thing has all but died. So, I figure it'd be good to get this thing rolling again with some new projects.

The music badger has been rearing it's head again recently, probably due to the fact I've been getting out a bit more. Been having fun diving into the in's and out's of live computer based music creation and performance. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it but for now I suck, but once I stop sucking expect some musical ramblings to pop up on here. Also trying to get Nicole involved as I could use the good influence, and I also hear she's pretty mean on the keys.

Track racing is going to be picking up soonish. I've spent the last few months getting comfortable on the track and getting my speed an endurance up. Hopefully I'll get some sort of structure to my training and get some actual instruction on how the different races go down. My first race might be next week, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am just yet. It's also on the island which presents the obstacle of getting there and finding a place to crash. Info: Victoria Velodrome
There is the threat that the track might get torn out in the near future so hopefully I'll get out there sooner than later.

Datsit for now!
