New for 2008
So far 2008 has brought quite the contrast to the end of 2007. I'm currently settling in with the new job and carrying on as a consultant for the previous, something I plan to do till the end of Spring.
Also, Ian, my roomate for a good chunk of last year has taken off to Peru for a little soul searching and Nicole has moved in. The place is coming along nicely if I do say so. It's nice to have a little of that "what's been missing" around.
Oh and I have fish. Here's one of them.
Un-officially named "Mushy." Our other fish "Crunchy" is a little camera shy.
I've also made a few changes to my bike, and in the attempt to keep bike nerd related posting to a minimum, I'll just post something when I'm done changing it... which will be never :)
And finally, you guessed it, this here BLAWG.... um yeah. I figure it might be good though since I don't spend a whole lot of time getting out it seems, and I'm not a big fan of Facebook so this is the next best thing!

On top of the obligatory Pinot, Brut and chocolates, Nicole & I celebrated V-Day with a little tea party this weekend featuring Nicole's own special blend.
Aside from a meeting in the morning, it was good to actually take a day off and do basically nothing all day with the lady. Hopefully work will wind down a bit this spring and I can look forward to a few more days off, preferably on foreign sand... although I'd settle for soil at right about now.

avanahasabirthday
hi. i am testing to see if lenny is going to capitalize all my grammatical errors again.
saturday night was avana's birthday. naturally i am not going to talk about it.
you can see some pictures though...
ugh. sorry, they're all shakey. i forgot to use the 2 second delay when balancing on glasses.
bocci got a red dot award for those lights.
i can't quite tell if tom hates me or not, but he is really nice so i like him.
lenny and i shared the seafood tower with tom and chris.

i am in so much hate with my hair that i think i am going to give myself bangs today.
after getting home from ryan's, lenny and i went for a ride to queen elizabeth park.
i can't remember if he took any pictures or not. he still hasn't given me the ones off his phone... (maybe he will post something on here even! - HINT HINT)
i think we made it into bed around 7am sunday morning.
sunday evening was primarily dedicated to eating pho thai son and watching atonement.
i will rate it 8/10.

OH MY BLAWG
Friday night we went to Toshi's for sushi.
We drank these in the alley while we were waiting for a table.
i had the raspberry, not peach.
Then we drank some big Japanese beers with our sushi...
...and ate the cod, oh my gawd, the cod!
After dinner we went to the liquor store and bought some more beers...
...we were going to go for a ride but i fell asleep while waiting for Lenny to finish tinkering with his bike and the beer to get cold.
At 1am I woke up and decided it was too early to let the party end.
So we cracked another beer and decided to start a blog!
Who knows why!
